Addiction Therapy

It’s not too late to fix your issues if you recognize the problem and make a conscious decision to start fighting back right now! You seek the right kind of help that will tackle the problem, root, and stem, in order to get rid of it PERMANENTLY and make it stay that way. In the literal terms, addiction is described as a compulsive act that causes harm to the person and those around them over and over that the person no longer has control over the ailment or their behaviors.

Now, let’s go through some of the various addictions:

Alcoholism Addiction
Also known as alcoholism is recognized by craving alcohol and simply can’t make yourself to put down the bottle – even when it’s affecting and destroying everything around you; your personal and professional relationships.

Amphetamine Addiction
Amphetamine is a type of stimulant used in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy, a sleep disorder. Addiction can easily occur when you need the drug to function on a daily basis or used the drug for a long period of time.

Anger and Aggression
This is when an addict has a problem dealing with and expressing anger and frustrations in productive ways. This can be linked to relapsing because most time that’s the only way addicts how to deal with anger – by using their drug of choice to mask their feelings.

Coffee (Caffeine) Addiction
As you know caffeine is a stimulant to the central nervous system. But the regular use of caffeine can cause serious physical dependence and Studies have demonstrated that people who take in a minimum of 100 mg of caffeine per day (about the amount in one cup of coffee) can acquire a physical dependence that would trigger withdrawal symptoms that include headaches, muscle pain and stiffness, lethargy, nausea, vomiting, and depressed mood.

Cocaine Addiction
This is one of the big ones! Can you imagine that up to this day, some people still ask if cocaine is truly addictive? That’s the same thing as asking if alcohol is addictive and the long and short answer is a resounding YES.

As you already know, most addicts always go through the “denial phase” where they will keep denying that they have a real problem – especially to those around them like close friends and family members. It is very important to familiarize yourself with the signs and fair indicators so that you know what to look out for not only to be vigilant but because it can end up saving your life or someone you love.
